Marcelo Coelho

Marcelo's intrests are diverse from the roots of black music in America to champion racehorses to the history of Brazilian dance company. Yet Coelho's approach is open and encompassing, not limited in any way. He is the type of photographer who is truly doing what he was meant to do, fulfilling his calling to create"from the soul". A sensitive, creative child, he came to photography at age of twenty-eight after an earlier, unfulfilling career in architecture, Yet, Coelho followed his dream, sticking to his passion despite the inherent impracticality of becoming an artist. With his determination and talent,he has flourished. It is that passion and commitment, that genuine interest and engagement with his subjects that are evident in his work. Coelho uses photography as a means to integrate his life with his art.
